Taras, best known by his nickname Saint, was born in 1980 in Ukraine. In 1997 he graduated from secondary school in his native town Gorohiv in Volyn region where he lived together with his parents. The same year 1997 he became a student of Lviv Commercial Academy at faculty of International Economic Relations. Since that time and till present he has been living in Lviv. He has a family, wife and two children.
Taras‘ interest in graffiti dates back to when he was at the age of 14, making him one of the oldest graffiti artists in Ukraine. In 2002 Taras graduated from Academy with a Master Degree. After his graduation Taras started his work as project manager in arts programs againts AIDS. Some of those projects were implemented in partnership with organisations and friends from Berlin.
Taras has been part of international projects and exchanges such as City Names in Berlin, Meeting of Styles, Urban Giants, Step in to Arena among others. Since 2008 Taras represent European brands of graffiti supplies.
In 2014 arter Russia began the war against Ukraine, Taras started painting vans with camouglace for the Ukranian arm forces. After the full-scale invation of Ukraine in February 2022 he started volunteering by camouflaging cars for the military. So far he has painted more than 70 cars.
