Pixelated Realities

Artist Collective

Pixelated Realities is a non-profit organization from Odessa with a focus on the digital preservation of Cultural Heritage. Their engagement in the field of photogrammetry enables a three-dimensional approach to historic and contemporary artifacts. Since the Russian invasion they use their digital expertise against the war and create a unique documentation of the Ukrainian commitment to protect their culture and heritage. At Q BERLIN they present via Augmented Reality (AR) two situations from the home country: a new monument of sand sacks (Duc de Richelieu), paying homage to the people of Odessa and their aspiration for culture, and a destroyed military truck from Kharkiv, manifesting their inviolable will for freedom. The AR-presentation at Q BERLIN takes place in cooperation with Studio Arpha, Berlin.
