Nikolaus Hafermaas

Nik is an internationally recognized and awarded designer, media artist, and educational leader. His artist platform Ueberall International is specialized in art&tech installations converging digital media and spatial experiences. During his tenure of 14 years, leading the Graphic Design Departments at renowned Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, Nik has created a revolutionary transmedia curriculum, by fusing print, packaging, motion and visual interaction design. As the new Managing Partner Creation at the Berlin-based innovation agency Graft Brandlab, Nik and his team are designing the relationship between groundbreaking technology and being human, creating future-driven brand solutions in digital and analog spaces – and where both worlds intertwine.
