Triodos Bank is a sustainable bank, which pursues the idea of using its customers’ money to finance positive change in society, in regard to the environment, social affairs, culture and sustainable buildings, focusing on post-growth, common good, non-speculative and democratic society of positive urban development.
Statement Manuel Ehlers:
Sustainable building does not stop at energy efficiency and clever use of materials; for the democratic, liberal and pluralistic urban society of tomorrow, the social added value of the projects – as a meeting place for generations and different cultures, with space for art, culture and crafts, through inclusion and affordable, socially just rents – is at least as important.
