Florian Wupperfeld, Founder of Leading Culture Destinations, is a placemaking specialist with an international background in media, culture, hospitality and membership- delivering cultural and commercial strategies for destination leaders. After his studies in California at UCLA he moved to London in 2006 developing and shaping destination brands for clients such as the Soho House Group or Accor, tourism boards such as Malta, Qatar or Nantes, real estate and PE companies such as Benson Elliot or Brookfield as well as cultural organizations such as the Tate London or the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro.  Florian is also funding member of the Dutch Foundation Caravane Earth, this year they launched two destinations already: a hospitality led organic farm in Qatar (Heenat Salma Farm) and a pavilion at the Venice Biennale which the Financial Times London called the best thing to see this year at the Biennale. Currently he is working on a publication evaluating new strategies for ESG companies driving cultural, social and commercial equity through cultural collaborations.
