Dr Christian Mölling is Research Director at DGAP, where he also heads the Security and Defence Program. He has been researching and publishing on security and defence, armament and technology and crisis management for over 20 years.
He advises German ministries and the Bundestag on these topics, as well as partner states and international organisations. Before joining DGAP, Christian Mölling worked and conducted research at the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP), the Center for Security Studies at ETH Zurich, the Fondation pour la recherche stratégique (FRS) Paris, the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) London, the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) Paris, the German Institute for Human Rights and the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg.
